Mondays are never fun, and today was no exception. I woke up late and only had twenty minutes to get ready and catch my bus, so I just slopped together whatever I could find in that time. I didn’t paint it in but I had another sweater on top of my cardigan because it was freezing today! From what I remember hearing on the news the wind chill alone was at least -20˚C and oh man did it feel like it! My class wasn’t any better, I think my school sometimes forgets how to read the thermostat and put it on the air conditioning thinking its the heater.

Friday was nothing special, I got to sleep in which was nice and then go to work- which was ok. It was a p.a day which I forgot about and it was busy when I got in, luckily it wasn’t too bad throughout the night.

I spent the majority of Saturday at home, I had plans to go out but those changed. I started feeling sick in the afternoon so it was good thing I didn’t end up going out until later on in the evening for my aunt’s birthday dinner.

Monday was fairly boring, I had class in the morning which might I add was freezing! Both the weather and inside my lecture hall were ice cold, I didn’t draw it in but I brought my huge knitted cardigan (see Saturday’s doodle) and I was still cold. Usually when I wear that I start boiling but my class was oddly cold. This is very much a recycled outfit so I thought I’d highlight the bag I use for school. I got it last year from Aldo for FREE on boxing day and it is the best purchase/non purchase I’ve made and goes with me practically everywhere. If I ever mention I was out the majority of the day you can bet this bag was with me. Its basic and big enough to put my laptop in along with some books and my water bottle, it gets heavy but its still perfect.

Saturday was somewhat busy. First I had work from 10:45-7. We close the store at 6 but the people in the shop wouldn’t leave until 6:30 so I couldn’t actually start closing until they left which was really annoying. After work I went to my friend Oksana’s birthday party after I stopped at home first to pick up my her gift. We were just staying in so I just wore really comfy clothes all day and switched sweaters from work to my her party.

Sunday consisted of lounging around and basically doing nothing. I wear this outfit a lot when I know I’m staying home all day. Its really comfy which is all I care about when I’m sitting around at home.

I had work today which is why my hair was up and I got to finally wear shoes that weren’t my snow boots! As much as I appreciate my snow boots its nice to put on cute shoes once in a while. At work we don’t have a dress code/uniform so I can wear whatever I like so long as its appropriate for running around and getting a little messy.

The eyes and arms/hands look funny but oh well those are definitely not my strong suit, especially when using watercolours. Lets just hope that if I keep this up I’ll get better at them.

*Side note

I’m planning on investing in a mini watercolour note book so I can stop using my sketch book to do my little outfit things. This way the quality of the colour won’t suck as much as it currently does since it gets absorbed so quickly by my sketch book paper. I’m hoping this weekend I’ll have time to stop by an arts supply store, if not I’ll swing by one on Monday when I go to school.

I spent the day running errands, and by running errands I mean walking around downtown trying to get everything done. Since I don’t have a metropass this month and can’t ride the subway everywhere without wasting a bunch of tokens I chose to walk everywhere instead which according to google maps was roughly 5.8km!! So knowing I’d be walking quite a bit I dressed for comfort (as always) and the weather thus sporting a ton of layers underneath all my outer-wear.

Side note: Yes this one like yesterday’s was late. I just get so distracted throughout the day to do these earlier.

I was feeling kind of sluggish and sick today so I wore really comfy clothes to school. I hate wearing sweats outside the house so my leggings and tunics are my alternatives. Also I didn’t draw it in but I had a black mens Chaps cardigan on as well since it was super cold out and layering is a must this time of year!

You may also notice from now on I’ll be trying to hide the hands in my doodles because drawing hands are the bane of my existence!

Note to self: Posting this a bit late because I was debating on skipping today but just doodled it anyways for fun.
